- Start fees must be
paid at the registration as per the entries.
- Modifications and new entries can be accepted
only within the existing start list.
- Fee of the entries at the registration (from
11th April): HUF 4.000/person/2days (MW 14-60),

- Fee of the modifications after the entry time

- Modifications have to be filled in the forms
received at the registration desk.
- An electronic control system will be used on
the event. Participants who has not their own electronic
control device can rent it for the event at a fee of
200.-HUF/person/2days at the registration.
- Some categories have had to be cancelled or
drawn together due to low number of entries. Athletes
entered into these categories have been transferred to other categories
as follows:
N/W 16C > N/W 18C N/W 55B > N/W 50B
- Entries into the Open categories will be accepted on the spot against
normal start fee.
Accommodation
The accommodation
fees have to be paid at the registration. Accommodation vouchers will be given
after payment at the registration.

Training
The training will be held on 12th April 3-7
p.m. in the surroundings of the Finish area. Maps can be purchased at the
registration.
Travelling to the Event
During
the two days the Competition Centre and
the Finish area are on the same location:
South-West from the centre of Nagykovácsi ( church, bus station), near
forest road to Telki, inside the forestry fence ( see the map).
To
the Finish area:
-
with own vehicles – proceed to the centre of
Nagykovácsi and follow the road markings to the Finish area. Parking (P) only
on the designated area. The buses have to park in the village. (Finish area
cca. 800 m)
-
By public transport – Take the blue bus no. 63
to the last station in Nagykovácsi. From there follow the markings to the
Finish area: cca. 1.500 m.

The start numbers distributed at the registration have to be used.
Changing Tents are set up in the finish area.
Map Field survey 2001-2002, 5 m contour lines, 5 colours according to the
IOF norms, scale
1:10
000 and 1:15 000. Maps for the
following categories are printed on water-proof paper:
M21E, M21A, M21B, M20A, M35A, W21E, W20A,
W35A.
Plastic cover for the maps will be available for the other categories.
Size of the
maps: 21x30 cm and 28x26 cm
(1:15000), resp. 35x40 and 23x33
(1:10000)
1st and 2nd
day: 1:15 000 scale for the following
categories: M21EABCBr, M20A,
M16C, M35A, M18BC, W21EBCBr, W20A, W18C, W35A. All the
other categories will use 1:10 000 scale maps.
After finishing the
maps will be collected on both days. After 150 min. race time on the second day
the maps will be given to every club against the ticket received at the registration.
Control post
descriptions are printed with symbols and code numbers on the maps.
The control posts are equipped with electronic
control system and the location is marked with small piece of papers. If
the control lamp is not lighting please use the punching stamp.
Refreshment
On the courses which
are longer than 10 km, location is marked on the map.
Open category
Entries and registration in the finish area every day until 30 minutes
before the first start. No summarised results will be calculated in this
category. In this category too the SPORTident electronic control system will be
used, and the electronic “control cards” have to be rented. Entry fee including
the renting fee is HUF 700/person/day.
Children’s race on marked courses. Entries
till 12.00 a.m. on the 1st
day and 10 a.m. on the 2nd day in the Finish area.
Competitors losing their way should proceed to the East, North-East until they reach the
Finish area or Nagykovácsi village.

Other important information
- It
is not allowed to enter the plantation gardens around the Finish area !

There are some stony area on the terrain, please move with care on these
areas !

The
fences may be crossed only at the marked places !

It is
forbidden to enter with dogs onto the competition area and it is requested to
keep the dogs on leash at the Finish area as well.

The
competition takes place in a special natural environment. Please protect
the
order and cleanness of the terrain. Please use the toilets and the waste
bags!
-
In the
Finish and parking area it is forbidden to smoke, to make fire and to use open
flame.
-
Please
protect the order, the cleanliness and the condition of the facilities in the
accommodations and the competition centre.

On the
same terrain and on the 2nd
day of the POSTÁS-MATÁV Cup the dr. Szentgyörgyi Imre Memorial OL event will be organised as the
first round of OL championship of the employees and students of the post and
communication industry and schools.

The Slovak - Hungarian Senior Competition will be organised again. Based
on the 1st day results of the POSTÁS-MATÁV Cup the best senior
competitors of the two countries will compare their capabilities on the 2nd
day.
